What We Do
Help in the Nick of Time provides support for children and families who are dealing with the challenges of Pediatric Cancer. Working with partners we fund programs for the kids and their families that bring a bit of joy, hope, and a positive distraction from their treatment.

How We Help
When kids are dealing with cancer their days of play and friends can be replaced with needles, tests, pain and boredom. Help in the Nick of Time works to provide patients with toys, games, books and crafts to entertain and distract them from their treatment and the isolation it brings.
The childs family is also dealing with new challenges. Commuting back and forth to the hospital, meeting with doctors, and spending time with their child is on top of the day-to-day challenges of work, finances, and caring for siblings. Together with local partners, we fund services to save the families both time and money so they can focus on their family.

Ever wonder what it's like train for and run a Marathon? For over 10 years running the Boston Marathon has been part of my fund raiser for Help in the Nick of Time. You can join me annually as I blog about the trials and tribulations of training for and running an annual Marathon Challenge to support children and their families dealing with Pediatric Cancer.

Help in the Nick of Time is a charity set up in the memory of our son Nick who loved helping people and adventure sports. The goal of the charity is to work hand in hand with pediatric cancer organizations to offer assistance to families with a child fighting cancer. 100% of donations go directly to helping families. Help us help others just in the Nick of Time.
